An Empire of a Million Worlds
The Imperium of Mankind is the crowning achievement of the Emporers unfinished work. It streaches from one side of the galaxy to the other. At a distant point in time, it almost ruled over the stars, like the Eldar Empire has before it. But like the Eldar, the Imperium's golden age was also ended with blood and war. The Hoarus Heresy and the Dark Age of Technology left the Imperium in the state it's in now. Despite it's size, it must constantly battle for it's survival every day.
