Yep! Probably I have the advantage that "Squat" in Italian doesn't mean anything! Wink

Actully I was making the joke that the name "squats" sounds like a bad case of diarrea. Sad

Ah! 'Le 'Squits' ? True... Demiurg (*SP) is a more suitable name.... At least with Ratlings you can explain it away as some kinda racist/anti ab-human sentiment on behalf of the Imperium.....

'Squats' may be an unusual name, but I think 'demiurg' is just horrible. It sounds just... stupid. Ok, Squats doesn't mean anything in german, but demiurg is so... wah. If Gw would make a codex ´for squats and would give it the name 'Demiurg', I just ha another reason to be disappointed in Games workshop.

Actually Demiurg is too phylosophy-oriented (Plato?) and has anyway nothing to do with a short race of miners...

I'd prefer Codex: Stunties.. Freak

Woa! I've been promoted to Cadet! Cool

demiurg is the name of the god i think. ''demiurg'' was used in rpg 'cult'.

''squat'' can also mean ''to take a dump'' (to pass a solid waste from your bowels''.

squat is also the name of a weightlifting exercise : )

I wouldn't want the Squats to be changed. I think it's a bit like the CHaosdwarfs in Fantasy. I love the models and the style ( got an amry) and I dont think I'd like a newer version of 'em nowadays..

To some extent I tell you that I also liked the humorous aspects of the old 40K BG. Not just the orks. It looks like to me that the new "era" in 40K is somewhat way too serious.

The bikers squats, the big hats.. it could seem naive, but it's part of the fascination the old GW-style has on me.

Altough not 40k-ish I still smile (right now also) thinking at the title of an CJ article about playing Ogres in WHQ.. "Wotchoo Lookin' At?!?".. or the whole Nork Deddog fluff in C:IG Laughing Laughing Laughing

The greatest trick the Squats ever pulled, was convincing the universe that they didn't exist.
