At least in terms of paperwork...

Me and my group (well one of them anyway) have been working for years on building a more organic and self-perpetuating game for us to play, an arbitrary rather than arbitrated system. And we're just about finished!

The concept was to not deviate from the rules in spirit at least, and not to add superfluous or unwieldy material whilst filling out the life and times of a hive gang.

We've got a complex map of towns centered around a junction to higher levels, with straight and scrupleless ways to earn money, we've got food water ammo and quipment stashes, event charts for travelling, traders and places to visit in Uptown (the aforementioned, and eponymous, resource junction and source of wealth), and a new cast of individuals who operate differently to crowds. All sorts, it's nice, as soon as it's done I will publish.

and so now I bring m'colleague to the point of skill charts, something he's always been unwilling to mod (mostly because it means another set of pages to refer to other than the book). But I've convinced him to see what we could do, and so I've just dug up {I}munda online as a point of reference, and of course we will look at 3.0, but I have two questions:

Firstly, could anyone summarise the differences between 3.0 and, say, Underhive for me please?

And secondly, does anyone know where I could find a copy of Privateer? all copies seem to have gone down :(

Thanks for reading folks, kudos for being here ;) and be well!

First, props for making some alternate rules: I'm having issues making up a new gang, let alone revamping the whole game. It'll be interesting to see these rules at some point.

I can't help with the first question, because I'm not quite sure what you're asking for (unless you mean comparing 2nd Ed with Community Ed, which is how I call the Necro versions).

The second question I'll answer by posting up a copy from my archive here. Just remember, I didn't make this, I just have a copy and can take it down if anyone complains.

Ardavion, thanx! That'll keep me busy...

And yea, I guess your Community Edition is the ruleset posted here? If so, any inside glean would be awesome!
Just finished the Gigs chart, a list of moneymaking activities that can be done in any locale. Gotta finish Uptown trading still. On into the night...
