Time for some web humour! This isn't a critique of the rules, I just like to poke fun at my own hobby sometimes. So...

You know you're in Necromunda when...

...you can get hit with a chainsaw or shot in the chest with a 10 million gijigawatt laser cannon and still make a full recovery by the end of the week.

You can burn something but it won't catch fire.

Everyone runs at exactly the same speed. Makes sports events in the spire kind of dull.

You live 10 miles underground yet rickets and vitamin D defficiancy are almost unknown.

Every material provides the same amount of protection from bullets.

Mung vases are incredibly valuable, yet no one seems to know when they were made, or by whom.

The range and characteristics of your gun seem to change over time.

-you wake up after a night out drinking and there's a buzz saw where your right arm used to be.

-the second serving of slime is actually a highlight of the day.

-you find a pile of the worst scrap metal ever and think "Ka-chiiing!"

-you feel like the Emperor for being able to buy the patrons at the local drinking hole a round of Second Best. And they agree.

You search for scrap metal to sell, so you can buy a piece of pipe to hit someone with. But you couldn't just pick up and use that scrap pipe directly.

For a small fee you get an infinite stock of grenades, which are obviously stored in a locker that only one ganger has the key for.

An appointment with the local surgeon to get a bionic eye fitted into your head and wired to your brain carries no risk of infection or malfunction.

Your gang is standing at the ground floor of a building and all ready to rumble with the enemy, but only then do you realise you are standing in a sea of goo or a bottomless chasm.

-you run out of ammo or you gun jams after you hit a real good shot

-the closer you are the better you can dodge bullets

-poking a toe round a corner makes you a harder target to hit

-when a man dies thier equipment mysteriously vanishes

-sometimes you just have to run away even when you have the upper hand

The only way for gangs to make money is fighting other gangs. Nobody has thought of extortion, racketeering, smuggling etc.

Ratskin maps are more common that the Ratskins themselves.

When you decide to run for it, you magically teleport back to base. There's no need to actually escape.

Everything is decorated with skulls. Clothing, weapons, civic buildings, storage cases, signs, equipment, doorways...everything.

You wake up and look at the camp fire and there are battery packs sitting on the edge getting recharged.

You get hit by a flamer and instead of spending time in a burn ward you get to inspire other from the scars left by the wound.

Your best friend gets hit in the head and you decide to take him to a doc and shove a computer chip in the wound to get him back on his feet.
