Hello Everyone!

After a brief hiatus from Necromunda (again), I have started work on my blog again. The Badzones is a home for all my work with Necromunda, including modeling, painting, gaming and continuing to create new content that was left after Specialist Games faded into oblivion. It's also going to be the home of my projects in all manner of Skirmish games including Malifaux, Puppet Wars, Space Hulkd, Mordheim and any other game that strikes my fancy.

So here's my question. What other Necro blogs are out in the aether? Is there a good Blogroll around for Necromunda? I know of AncientSociety's Blog and Migsula's fantasic Legion of Plastic, but I'd like to see if there are other blogs with a focus towards Necromunda, =I=munda, or really any other skirmish games. I'd love to find, join or create a network of bloggers who have it in mind to keep this great game going and really get the 40k blogosphere aware of how great a game Necromunda is.

Any thoughts?

Well I've started blogging and the link to that can be found in my sig, it's mainly Necromunda with a bit of 2nd Ed 40K and stuff. If there is a blogging group or blogroll i haven't found it yet but I'd gladly sign up. One of the best skirmish scale Necro/40K blogs is definately Tales from the Maelstrom, so you should really check that out.

I'll be creating my own blog more sooner than later, although it wont be exclusively Necro (your's isn't either, so it doesn't really matter). More in the tune of "wargaming and collecting brainstorm". It will be part of a great project of commercial world conquest. Keep you informed.

I have to say that your photos are really inspiring. Make me desire going back to the workbench right now. Specially the giant spider :D

Cheers!

Thanks RoberK,

That game kind of represented the pinnacle of my Necro terrain collection. It has since gotten much smaller but much more detailed.

My only regret is that we didn't have any appropriately colored boards. The decision was made to go with the green felt and in retrospect, I'd rather have just gone with bare wood. :(

@Chicken Good reccomendations on both blogs. I have followed Tales from the Maelstrom for a long time, but lost track of it recently and I'm looking forward to more your blog too.

Anyone else know of some good blogs?

I didn't comment about the green table just for politeness. :)

We all know that there is always something more important to paint than the table: terrain, minis, children's room...

Some months ago, I painted in rusty black my board and it's amazing how everything suddenly changes. Now, every piece of dark terrain (all my terrain is dark) fits as if it had grown on the spot.

I've been gaming for 20+ years with wood Elves and I'm only now getting round to making some reasonably attractive woods!

Thanks all for your recomendations. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Let's keep this going and if we get enough, maybe we'll be able to start a real Specialist Games Blogroll.

Krug has a Necro blog Tales From downhive which I quite enjoyed (needs some new entries though).

Another old but still fun blog is SECTOR N-UH-855. Its one of those blogs that I keep hoping that it will add new content but there were some cool stuff in it.

Lastly is CARRY THE FIRE which was another highly enjoyable Necro blog with some real fun looking zombie bat reps.

There's another three for the blogroll if only they started posting new stuff.

I really need to update that blog. I have been slowly trying to finish my DUST series and write more, do not have time or the space to hobby at the moment otherwise I would update my personal blog. I have seen only a few Necromunda blogs out there ( As I do not feel Tumblr counts) and as always I try and keep up with s4G's stories :D

Would love to also be pointed towards some other Necro blogs, whether they be campaigns, stories or just painting.
