Yes, this old chestnut again!

Basically if a weapon with several ammo types (e.g. shotgun, grenade launcher, missile, whatever) fails an ammo roll does it jam the entire weapon? Or can you still fire the other types of ammo you have?

There is a debate going on in our Necromunda circle about this. I'd be interested to know what other groups do.
Personally I think it should jam the whole weapon. Otherwise a shotgun with bolt and man stopper rounds would have to fail four ammo rolls before becoming useless, when other guns only have to fail once. And that's before taking into account reloads, weaponsmith, armourer etc. Doesn't seem fair.

One player suggested rolling for it, with 50% chance of jamming the gun.

The whole weapon is jammed. I can't remember where the rule is, but I'm positive that's it.
