They look ok for me, quite expensive, but the improved statline should warant this.

It seems ok to me. The main issue with Squats in Necromunda is their low I characteristic. You will have smaller gangs but the extra T is a godsend. I think a separate set of skills would be fluffy too but that's just me. The under suspicion rule is quite debilitating.
