Hey guys, I have just invested in some Wargames Factory Zeds and other such Survival Horror staples and was wondering if any of you guys had tested the plethora of Zombie games out there. I have already taken a quick look at Ambush Z from the creators of Ambush Alley and also the at All Things Zombie from 2 hour wargames. I am looking for a simple but realistic game that will allow me to play both armed forces vs. Zeds AND survivors vs. Zeds.
Any help guys?

I'm not sure you guys understand what he is asking. I don't have any experience with an armed forces vs. Zeds type of game. I think that would be a home brew. And honestly, without some zombie mutants, I do not know how you could keep the army from wiping the floor with the slow Zeds. There are PLENTY of Zombie vs. Survivors games out there: Zombie Town, When Darkness Falls, Zombies!!!, Zombiegeddeon...

Yeah, really looking for table-top strategy, there are some knocking around with plenty of Zombie mutants (too many to list), but they seem geared towards large scale, whereas I am still leaning towards skirmish scale stuff (maybe just a coupla squads)...
The search continues!

A good place to start would be using plague zombies and gangers (Arbiter gang rules?) and use more realistic models for the military. Then you could just adjust the rules to how you want the game to play. I'm always abusing rulebooks to get new scenarios and find it works pretty well. Not to mention the game plays exactly like you want it to. :)

Also, I'm currently working on a zombie skirmish game system which I'll eventually get around to posting. It's not meant for competitive play though. It'll have a more RPG feel with a GM (ZM=zombie master? ) but not nearly as complicated rules.
