we've got full box and some gangs: dark elves, skavens, humans, cultist. everything's in the locker for many years.i didn't get into it, prefer necromunda, although it's holidays and plenty of free time so maybe we'll dust the cardboard ruins :)

i remember the grim, moody feeling of the books. they were so black... game had very strong horror feel.

Isn't this game similiar to Necromunda just in fantasy?

What are the similarities and differences between the two?

We played ut a bit, but werent all that big fans. The main stumbling block is that Necromunda makes each guy important. In Mordheim, you have a couple of heroes, and a load of cannon fodder.
More fitting for a fantasy game maybe, but we didnt like it a lot

Also income collectio. You don't own territories in Mordheim. The game is not as great as Necromunda, but provides a nice change now and then. :D

the whole idea isn't that uninteresting. game is more closely related to old wfrpg than to modern wfb.

the city of mordheim got it's own book, back in the days of wfrpg. your adventurers have the option fight the scenarios with game master and face even the dragon! if your game master has the rpg sourcebook, and some dedication you may experience very cool campaign.

gotta check the books. really

I really like the income system in Mordheim. I would like to use it along with territory system in Necro, I just haven't figured out how. :|

Yeah I like Mordheim, but my friend (and only opponent) doesn't like it as much as Necromunda. The rulebook has some weirdness in it. I think it was on the Johaan the Knife page, it showed a rat cardinal. He had the big hat and the secpter and looked like he was telling so other rats to go some where.

That is part of the appeal. At least for me.

Saw my rulebook last night and I was sorta wrong about the rat. He was holfing an insense burner not a secpter. And he was on the page with Veskit. On Johann's page it shows a buunch of frogs holding hands and dancing.

Mordheim is a good game but after several games, it's boring. :(

It's quite good, but only for short campains, as there are too many advancements and then limits on models...

I think it is a nice alternative to Necro. Not as good, though, but still a blast. Only thing I don't like is how the Henchman groups are written up to be expendable. It should be like in Necro where every man is important and has a role. :|

Except juves, hehehe...
Maybe, but fantasy is much more heroes folloed by followers IMO, although maybe there should be more heroes available...
I've just made a skaven warband. 13 models in groups of 3 +sorceror  If anyone wants to see the list...
