Hi all!

I have just came home after a sunday at a WFB local fantasy tournament. I was there with a friend in the "dissident" table where we played 40K 2ed and it has been quite odd when at least a couple of young rats stopped pointing at my mk1 Land Raider and asked "Cool, what's that?!?!?" and "DId you do by yourselves all these counters and cards?!?"

Oh well

Anyway I was there to see my other regular opponent playing with his Tomb Kings and I started toying with the ida to get back in this world.. I currently play 40k 2ed, Necromunda and NetEPic.

I ask your advice because I need to know if there is an army which suits my needs, and here they are:

-It must be SIMPLE and fast to paint, I don't have time to lose in painting and patience to paint belt pouched, gems and crests.
-I love small, powerful armies (I know that large armies made up of crap usually win, but who cares?!) so it must be
- I want to have a chance. So to speak, I need a competitive army, that's not losing every game at the very beginning.

So, is there something good for me?!?

My firs choice would be Chaos Daemons, also because in the recent times I am becoming more and more.. :chaos :chaos :chaos

And especially I would like a single god army.. a nice Khorne Army.

So, that's the picture. Any (really any) advice is really appreciated.

Cheers!

Yes, Daemons are a perfect match to those requirements. They are quick to paint, small in number and insanely overpowered!

Well, a Khorne themed fantasy deamon army will be veeery limited seeing as there's only one unit option per diff. unit slot to choose from..

I'd suggest Ogre Kingdoms.. I haven't actually PLAYED fantasy in like 6 years, but I've followed it's progress and I do beleive that Ogres is what you need... ;)
