I am looking at starting my first fantasy army after 2 40K forces and some necromunda gangs.
I have narrowed it down to 2 forces.

Vampire Counts
No beasts or ghouls. No Necromancers.
All Vampires, Spirits, Skeletons and Zombies

Warriors of Chaos
All Chaos Armoured force.
No beasts or Maurauders.
Warriors, Knights and Chariots.

Those are the rough ideas. But which would be more fun to model, paint, convert and play?

Probably the chaos list, there is lots of versitility with conversions and the knight kit is just lovely, also they are quite a poverfull force on the table top

I started a WoC army last year, and quickly found that marauders with Mark of Khorne and Great Weapons are one of the most cost effective core units in the game. I originally didn't want any marauders in my force as well, but now they are the first thing on my lists. Food for thought.
