As I've been on an extended Warhammer playing run I've been a bit lax in posting on this forum, even though it is still the one that I have posted on more than any other!

So anyhoo, I've been writing up battle reports on my blog and due to picture dimension issues (and my computer illiteracy) I thought I'd put links to my battle reports for those who may be interested.

Battle of Charnal Pitt :(

Battle of the Biscuits

Doom in the Mountainous Valley of Doom :-)

The Succour of Le Hameau avec des Porcs

Slaughter at the field of screams. :-o

Triumph & Treachery Report or The Battle of WTF!

The Battle over the river of tranquility :-|

The Raid of Proxxi Tower. :verymad

The One Tower :angry

Triumph & Treachery in Cavan Town :P

The War Against Chaos Continues.

A Half A Game Of AoS.

Minty Rides Again (or the curious case of the Trans-specied Dragon Ogre).

Mizzard Wodel Strikes Back.

Minty Pops His KoW Cherry.

To be honest I didn't realise how many I had done until I started listing them here! Well I'd love any comments on them as I am trying to make each one better than the last.

Maybe I missed it or something, but I really love the maps you made, how did you do that? Is there an online program, or is it something you made?

And by the way your battle reports and blog are awesome! I love how you keep track of painted miniatures, a great way to stay motivated to paint :)

Thanks. The program is Battle Chronicler and it's free to download here. the only minor niggle I had with it was when I tried to use over 12 units in a report, it kept removing one so I had to make vague references to 'invisible' Chaos Spawn. As far as the model count goes, I saw it on other blogs and just plagiarized it  . The total does help motivate as I'm determined to try to beat last years total (but that's a tough ask due to an inordinate number of giant rats in 2013)!

Yeah but you have to consider the sizes of the miniatures painted. I mean, if you painted up a knight on a horse, that isn't equal to just one giant rat. That would be equal to like 2 or 3 giant rats. Or if you painted up a huge dragon, that might be equivalent to all the giant rats you did plus a few basic foot troopers. Not all mini's are made the same after all ;)

I have two totals on there, number of models & points values of painted miniatures. So if either running total is higher than the previous year then I'm happy enough. :)

I just wanted to say I love reading your battle reports!

Your terrain and miniatures look awesome and the pics are fun to look at.

Thanks, I had been in a terrible gaming drought for the last 8-9 years that was about 2 years ago, then I met a couple of lads who I meet up with every other week, since then I've really pulled my finger out about getting things finished. My wood Elf army is pretty much painted (for up to 2500 point games anyway) and having regular games and different opponents really makes it easier to do. I found that attending a one day tournament really spurred me on. I'm planning to take Lizardmen to my next tournament but that's a long way away. I find i am in the position now of having 3 battle reports to write up and probably a fourth one if i have a game next week!

Here's something new, a Battle report where I'm a bystander. Ogres vs Warriors of Chaos here.
