hmm. I'm not sure about that.fireblade and I played a bit after the reset with the new rules.

Harvesting systems can only be done a number ov times equal to its pop before it is overtaxed - and it resets only once per day. I was thinking that we should do fleets like this as well. One ov the major complaints about fleets is that the run out ov fuel at bad times. anyway, We could give each fleet a number ov actions equal to its fuel per day. Like systems, taking these actions would not count towards your character's turns per day, and when the fleet's actions are used up, the fleet would be overtaxed. A fleet would remain overtaxed until the next day, when it would recycle just like systems.

While a system or fleet is overtaxed, you could still give it orders, but it would cost your character's turns. This way, there would be an advantage to using more then just one fleet or system to do all your harvesting. and, fleets wouldn't run out ov fuel.

It is just an idea, and I want to get some input before I even begin to think about coding anything. Let me know what is up.

Oh oh, fine!

Nobody says anything in the Coreward Bound threads for days so I quit checking for a couple of days and WHAMMO! The game gets reset. I wasn't finished torturing McCragge. I was going to strip mine the entire Omega Galaxy until it was a vast and barren wasteland!

Hey, I earned that "advantage" by clicking away for days to obtain that lead. A person could get carpal tunnel syndrome or worse if they didn't know what they were doing. Yet, based on how the game is (or was) set up, that is a perfectly legitimate strategy. I don't see what all the belly aching is about. Maybe the more competative players are just jealous they didn't think outside the box more?

How do you attack a enemy system?

You have to set the person to enemy through the diplomacy menu and send fleets to their systems. It's best to use combat ships only.

Combat will either be between the system defences and your fleet or an enemy fleet and your fleet.
