finally kicked my dirty WoW habit a few months back, been waiting for something else to play. Didn't like WAR as they hadn't (and it wasn't mentioned) included my favs the Skaven.

So as long as the 40K isn't as PvP focussed as WAR it could be a winner for me :)

I would anticipate a strong emphasis on PVP. This is supposed to be the grim darkness of the future where there is only war, after all. Since everyone in the 40K universe is out to kill pretty-much everyone else, I wonder how they will handle PVP?

Since it sounds like Space Marines will be playable, I assume that the sky's the limit on characters... Imperial Assassins, Psykers, Techpriests. Imperial Guard might be classified as pets, they'd be so weak!

I have not played any MMOs in some time, but I suspect that I would try the 40K MMO just to see what sort of world they create for it. I tend to do a lot of sightseeing in games that have a world to explore.

indeed Venator I'm the sightseeing type too, it would nice to be able to do it without having to constantly be dodging gankers :)

The 40k mmo is pretty much dead - the developer is looking for publishing partners in order to be able to finish the game.

Heard it was going single player, which is GREAT news, as I hate MMO's

A single player RPG in the WH40K universe? If that can't get you excited, you're not a fan boy!!

IMO down of war is the only good game they have. looks and feels great. the only downside is the size of the armies without a mod
