Hey guys, check out my newest game! It is called 'Dungeon Tactics' and is a skirmish role playing game. It was created for the Liberated Pixel Cup; a free software game development competition. I actually got the idea for this game here on this very forum (as I have for so many of my other games). I had originally wanted to make a Deadlands 3d skirmish game, but McCragge never replied to my message, so I build this instead.

Its ok tho, generic fantasy is almost as cool as post apocalyptic cyberpunk, right?

...

In any case, you can download it here :

ill give that a play later :) deadlands 3d in that view would be good, but on the flip side it wouldnt be the same game.

Nope, it's not at all the same game at all. This has far more in-depth combat then anything else I have designed.
Deadlands 3k was 'partly inspired by' my old srpg design; Dungeon Tactics (Deadlands Tactics?) is a true next gen successor. This plays more like Necromunda or Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures; you control a whole group at once, moving your units into range and positioning them for line of sight before you attack...

Is this a game you have to download to play, or is it something that can be played in your browser?
