So I came across a new game called DUST: Tactics which has now evolved into DUST: Warfare. IF you haven't heard of it, I highly suggest giving it a google and picking up a boxed set.

Anyway here are some quick US infantry painted up for gaming. The commanders and heroes will be given the proper painting. These guys have just base coating and a wash to make them a bit dirty.

Well I have recently discovered and fell in love with Flames of War. So I thought I would post some in process picks. (Also note, I will be blowing up the historical section of the EFF with Flames of War stuff :)

First up, my Shermans and Germans. 2 British Fireflys, 9 Sherman V's and 2 StuG G's. I still have 3 more Stug's to assemble, a V1 rocket, 2 Pak 40's and a crap ton of infantry...and that's just the starter boxed set!

Here they are from another angle, I started painting a few of them...cause well I am to damned excited to wait till everything was assembled.

FoW seems to be getting very popular nowadays. I'm trying to get my gaming group to try it. Typically how much would the game and and modest set up cost?

It seems that FoW, Bolt action and DUST Tactics are the popular games. At least the ones I am really liking as well.

The starter boxed set for FoW is between $60 to $70 bucks and is loaded with tanks and troops. 6 Shermans, 2 Fireflys, 4 Stugs, 2 Pac 40's and a crap load of infantry and V1 rocket :) Totally worth the purchase in my opinion.

Here are some Imperial Ogryns I modelled up to be Super Mutants for a Fallout style mini game.

A couple of before/during pics

And the finished products. Of course I still need to do the bases. But I think you get the idea.
