These are awesome! I really love your gang, full of personnality and very well painted.
I would be very curious to know how you paint your flesh, it's spot on!

Two thumbs up!

Thanks alot guys! :)

Well, my recipe for skin is usually pretty much random, I do a different method on every batch of minis - so far I didn't really find a favorite one, but I like this one pretty much too.
On these guys it was...
Base color: VMC Medium Fleshtone
Shading: VMC Medium Fleshtone + VGC Terracotta, to pure VGC Terracotta (and couple glazes with Ogryn Flesh in some places)
Highlights: VMC Medium Fleshtone + VMC Basic Skintone, with a bit of VMC Ivory added for the last few layers.

But, painting skin is usually trial-and-error for me :D

Oh wow, haven't really done anything for almost a year!
Meanwhile, I started working for Anvil Industry - meaning almost unlimited access to AMAZING bits and goodies for convertin'...went to Salute again, got some more of the Heresy non-Delaques...started building up an Enforcer gang, converted a Spyer gang, worked a (little) bit more on the Inq28 stuff, still waiting for the Raging Heroes KS stuff to arrive so I can do more Inq28/Necromunda Eschers...

Also, renamed the topic, as I don't really want to start a separate one for the two (soon-ish three) new gangs... :)

Some pics as proof that I haven't been completely neglecting the hobby...

Silas (only needs basing now) and some Priest guy

Bases for the new Delaques and the Enforcers + a pet for my future Wyrd Technomancer (probably counts-as Miliasaur)

Aaaand the counts-as Spyrers!

Matriarch & Patriarch

Jakara

2x Malcadon

Orrus

Aaaand my favorites, 2x Yeld

Also, a random Orrus dude, that pretty much started the Spyrer gang, and ended up being left out...

That's it for now, hopefully I'll give you painted pics pretty soon - also, some shots of the Enforcers, tho you can actually see one of them trying to shoot the Spyrer Matriarch...

Thanks! Well, hope painting will go faster than doing that basing tutorial I promised quite a few months ago (I'll definitely do that at some point in the near-ish future, I promise!) :)

Right, a little bit of progress on the bases - found a new method to do the rust, got the current look in two steps instead of about 6-8...I'm a bit tempted to leave it at this stage, looks quite a bit different than the previous bases, but more realistic...
Image

And WIP shots of a new random guy, the Butcher of Rustden - some psychotic maniac serial killer with a thirst for blood and a love for human meat...he might be slightly Khornate... :chaos

That's it for now, see ya laters!

Only two steps for that rust effect? Damn it looks good, I feel like I need a tetanus shot just looking at them :)

Hmm, I guess I shouldn't change anything on it then!
Aye, it's only two steps - and priming. Rhinox Hide basecoat + sponging with VGC Parasite Brown - that's it! :)
