December 2013?!?!? Has it really been that long?

Needless to say I've still not finished painting that set of minis lol.
This was due to a few reasons, first getting burned out a little (only a little) after all the buying, modding, stripping, primering and painting I needed a little break.

Well that break turned into an android game demo being created, followed by a full game, then getting burned out on that while trying to finish the demo into a full game, so I turned to creating a comic book using CGI but after creating the characters and getting halfway through the first issue (plus some other side projects with that) I've come back around to pulling my minis back out.

Those first 20 are nearly ready for the touch-ups before the washes and highlighting (hopefully I'll be able to finish this step up this weekend ad get some fresh pics up, as it sits I'm only able to work on my projects over the weekends)

Ok, so after apparently a reeeeeeaaaaaly long break, I finished up the base color.
Now I need to decide if I'm going to take the time to use colored washes or just a basic black (shadow) wash.
What do you think?

Coloured washes, black will make them look dirty.

I agree black would be way to harsh. Instead a dark brown or sepia ink wash would make them look good I think.
