Sorry I know theres an old thread about this somewhere but I can't find it anymore.

Does anyone have templates for Cardstock buildings like those that came with the Original Necromunda boxed set?

A copy of the originals would be nice but they are apparently not available. I did find one site with some stuff on, but it wasnt great. Has anyone made any templates for their own use? Perhaps new buldings or the smae shapes as the old ones?

I really don't have time or space to make loads of terrain, so really the cardstock is best for me and I have hundreds of bulk heads.

Alternatively if anyone has any extra bits they wanna sell for a little cash then I will happily buy!

Ebay is stupidly expensive.

Cheers!

Given time, i could scan my busted old templates...

Aaaargh! *gnawed to death by GW law-dogs*

Or i could draw them for ya in a CAD program, so you can print out the layout and paint/model it to your liking?

Greatimp came through for me, dont know if im allowed to say, but yeah he sent me some files :P

But, if you have any designs for other buildings i'd be very interested :)

And also, does anyone know what thickness of card the original stuff is printed on?

1.2 mm roughly. You might get away with 1mm

Problem is, most of the templates themselves slotted into plastic Bulkheads that also came with the bundle.

I happen to have a tonne of them, but I aint parting with them unless its a very, very good price. Then again I might not even part with them at all since most other Terrain I construct has a life expectancy of only a couple of months before wear and tear in my home and storage tends to make the brittle set piece fall apart....

Yeah, I recently picked them all up on ebay. Plus other sets from the same era that are compatible. Space Crusade boards are also somewhat compatible. But I fear even the thickest stuff that could come out of a printer wouldn't work with those bulkheads.

Anyway, I just love the original terrain and how, unglued, it can work like Lego - with new buildings/designs for each game. Personally, I just can't justify the time/expense of making "proper terrain". And I still use the original figures unpainted (along with Space Crusade figures) - as I like the way you can switch weapons.
