Greetings Brothers!

I have just started up my own retro 40k blog at

http://classicastartes.blogspot.co.uk/

If you fancy following my old school 80's/90's adventures then please feel free to pop along...and maybe even leave the odd comment!

Cheers mate;

And thanks for the comment. Hopefully I can do my part for bringing retro 40k to the masses!

Cheers mate much obliged for the praise!

In all honesty I'm a bit of a computer illiterate so I can't work out how to post pictures to the forums directly from my computer since I filled up photobucket! However the blogging thingy on Blogger lets me do it directly from my hard drive so I found it easier!

If anyone wants to tell me how I can post pics directly from my laptop to here I'd be happy to post them!! But remember speak very slowly and use small words as I'm not too bright ;-)

While we're on the subject whatever happened to the gallery section of EF? I had some of my best work on here!

The old server we were on forced me to upgrade the forums to the newest PHPBB version. (Which is why the EFF looks the way it does now) and all those mods and add ons that I had where incompatible.

However I am looking into other features and stuff.

One of our biggest losses I think was the EFF Wiki, that was a treasure trove of Necromunda awesomeness, and I am really bummed at its loss :(

Actually there will be a very good chance of that. I am moving the EFF to a new server, once there I will be able to add all the MODs back to the Fringe. Which includes the gallery.

Unfortunately, all previous pics that members have submitted are gone, so you will have to repost your pics. But at least we will have a gallery and hopefully some other cool knick knacks and what not.

Just to say, I'm not sure if it would be 100% solution to recovering info, but the wayback machine might help with recovering some of the pages if they were archived by it.

Just google "wayback machine", put in the forum url, and have a look if the pages are around.

An example url, from me looking for downloads (some of them still kinda work, too!):

I like them! Good highlights and nice freehands on the shoulderpads. The Crimson Fists just are so iconic to all the old 40k players, good choice.
