Well ive been interested in aeronautica a while and i figure that i may as well get a small air force of Tau considering the gd value for money and the recommendations from my mate who works in the local GW.

me n my mate are setting up a specialist games club one day a week instore after the onswet of september. We are planning a six week rota of a few choice specialist games starting with necromunda, then battlefleet then aeronautica.

Since i dont own the aeronautica rulebook yet im wondering if anyone on the EFF can begin to teach me the basics and point out key stats of ships etc. ie. weapon, armour, speed blah blah. Any detailed knowledge about the tau fleet would be appreciated. I especially want to know if tiger sharks are worth taking or just to go all barracuda.

They're letting you play Specialist Games in store? Good, because all the wankers on Warseer are convinced that GW is totally against the sort of thing.

I'm sure it's just because the staff doesn't want those forty year old virgins ruining their image, though. ;)

im on special understanding with the staff in store.

So yeh i play specialist games in store. at the moment sum people in store have started a mordheim campaign which is alrite i guess but the game isnt really to my tastes. Ive been running a necro campaign too. One of the staff members has even joined in (i took great pride in reducing one of his heavies to toughness 2 :chaos )

But yeh i understand that most places dnt like specialist games instore. we only get strict times to play tho. its like, on one or two days a week from 4 till 6. but its cool cos it means i also have veterans night.
