Did GorkaMorka have rules that distinguished the various ork tribes from eachother? (Badmoons, Goffs, Blood-Axes, Evil Sunz, Deathskullz, and Snakebites) Or were they all the same? Did they have skill lists? How did they differ from Necromunda's skills?

Gorkers and Morkers were the only difference, Gorkers were brutally cunning and Morkers cunningly brutal.

IE gorkers were muscle and ferocity and Morkers were sneaky and good drivers. :)

there was definitly room for more factions in GM. But the various Ork Tribes would not have been at all fluffy, not in that context.

As for the skills, there were Ferocity, Muscle, Driving, Cunnin', Dakka and Odd. Ferocity, Muscle, Dakka (shooting) and Cunnin' (stealth) are broadly similar to the necromunda skills, Odd is a bit like techno but not very.

Snake bites could have fitted very nicely I think. Ork's who had given up on getting off the planet or doing anything with tech. Lootas don't really fit as that is everyone. Bad moons could I guess, they just need tipping towards being equipment heavy. Goffs are already there in gorkas. :)

like i said, there was room for more factions. However, if my understanding of Ork fluff is anything like right, they wouldn't be "snakebites" or "goffs" or whatever, as the tribes represent orks with different genetic as well as cultural backgrounds (with orks the 2 are closely intertwined), whereas the Orks on Angelis have a very restricted gene pool. Furthermore, they barely remember how they got where they are, it seems highly unlikely (if the Angelis Hulk was carrying representatives of the different Ork tribes) that they would recall what tribe the survivors were.

In addition to this: I gather that the 6 main tribes are a bit like the different SM chapters, Craftworlds or guard regiments. They are just a few examples of the myriads of tribes/ chapters/ craftworlds/ regiments/ orders etc. etc. out there.

(Gorker boyz -ganger level orks- got Muscle, Ferocity and Dakka. Morker boyz got Ferocity, Driving and Cunnin')
