Since the day that the Eastern Fringe Forums has gone live I have been trying to get the link out in as many different ways as possible. What I am curious to know is, have they actually worked? And if so, which ones?

So, tell us, how did you come to find out about the Eastern Fringe Forums

I followed the link from HotH, which I found by googling "Warhammer 40k 2nd edition"

Long time member of HotH, yea not as long as some of the other guys, shut up, which I found by stumbling upon Rogue Trader Heresy.

I learned about the board through word of mouth and by being aware of the old board. I cannot be any marketing help in that regard.

Now that I think about it, I cannot recall having ever seen a link to this forum from anywhere else. Of course the other forums/sites that I frequent are probably not the ones that you would visit. Ever been to Kompletely Kroot, McCragge? I didn't think so!

As an experiment I tried to come up with some search criteria to put into Google that would lead me here. Even when I searched for "eastern fringe", this board came up as the #8 result returned. Searching for "necromunda" brings up the old board but not this one (at least not on the four pages I looked at).

Of course any search involving Kroot came nowhere near this place. Even the World of Warcraft MMORPG forums come up before The Eastern Fringe does for Kroot topics! Obviously, I need to use the word Kroot in more sentances. Kroot, Kroot, Kroot, Kroot....

Actually, I think my search was for "necromunda" now that I think about it. Seeing that the old board was dedicated to 2nd edition was what got me thinking about getting back into 40k.

This is outstanding information everyone thank you. This is all very helpful to me...no really it is.

And I may not have been to Kompletely Kroot, but after I paint up a few I think I will make a stop by there. Of course you could always put in a good word for us :)

A search for the string "Kompletely Kroot" did not yield any results for EFF.

I found HotH by, IIRC, searching for Necromunda forum. It might have just been Necromunda though. Came to Eastern Fringe through that.

I found EFF on the Specialist games forum, I barely ever post there anymore as EFF is far better nowadays.

I (like so many others) came here via HotH, after searching for "Necromunda".

Same here...

...of course I started posting on a dead forum for about an hour before I noticed that you'd moved  ;)

Great job, all admins, btw...

Searched up "Necromunda" on google, found this site, then double checked it by posting on some other forums.

I was actually searching for inquisitor, which lead me to the Specialist Games page for =I=, which lead me to the SG page for Necro. After about six months there, someone reference HoTH. I made my big transition when the discussion level on the SG page drops to "MAKE MY GANG FOR ME, DAMMIT!"
