I’m having trouble logging in to the Fringe at work. I can log in, but I get logged out as soon as I go to another page. This makes it rather difficult to post anything. I didn’t have this problem at my previous place of employment, but I also don’t have the problem at Relic forums or at the OGC. Now, admittedly, my network at work is not the best, and I frequently have to double-click to get a link to work, but for the first few weeks at this job, I didn’t have trouble logging on. Now it logs me out immediately. At home I have no trouble logging in, but I’ve got it set to log me on automatically, and we recently switched to DSL. Could that interfere with logging in at work? Would it see I’m logged in on my home computer (which is usually connected to the internet, even if it’s not on the Eastern Fringe unless I’m actually using it), and refuses to let me log in on a different computer unless that one logs out?

Hmm that is weird because I have DSL as well at home and don't have the logging problem at work that you have.

Have you tried checking the "Log me on Automatically" at work? Of course you have to manually log yourself out at the end of the work day.

I don't think the problem is on our end though. Could it be a firewall issue on your work computer?

Looks like that will fix the problem. Thanks, McCragge! I just don't like clicking that button on "public" computers. But I guess it's my only option if I don't want to type up my responses in word, save them to my flash drive, and then post them after I get home (a very tedious process :P)

I'm almost certain it's something to do with my work's network setup. But as I'm not IT, I don't have much control over that. <sigh>
